Backwards

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.”

Y’all I quit my job, in the middle of a pandemic … and I don’t have a plan.

I feel like I am going backwards … again. But just like an arrow, I need to go back … to my roots, to my passions, to what I love the most … so that I can follow the path of my wanderful arrow.

Messy, Crazy, ME

I started this blog because I need a place to confess, to ramble, to share my messy and crazy unconventional life because maybe you’re like me and you need a place to see that you are not alone.

I am a coffee-loving, Jesus following, whiskey-drinking, minimalist living, wanderlust mama just trying to find my path. Whether you are any of these or none of these, you are in good company.

Maybe your path is just as messy and crazy as mine and you feel like you can’t even imagine where your arrow is headed. I hear ya! I’ve been forward, backward, left, right, and a ring around the roses more times than I can count.

I’m here to tell you, it’s OK!

It’s ok to embrace the journey, it’s ok to love the mess, and it’s ok to ask “what the hell am I doing?”.

It’s all OK … because if we seek God’s will in all you do, he will show you which path to take (Proverbs 3:6 NLT).
